They’d grown up in the same schools and with shared friends for a lot of their lives, but it wasn’t until right after their high school graduation that they started their story together. And six years later, this couple from Hays, Kansas, came to Kansas City to start their next chapter! About her vision for their big day, Brandy shares:

I wanted the wedding to be romantic and elegant, as well as very personalized. Thus I tried to add personalized details, like roses lying on the chairs at the front of the ceremony area for our grandparents and great-grandparents who have passed away. I also attached my grandma’s broach to my bouquet. Our personalized “guest book” was a sign that our guests signed and that we’ll hang in our living room. And our main accent color — red — was also an important detail, as Lincoln and I are very big Chiefs fans!

Brandy and Lincoln: All that red certainly added a pop to your images, but I think what’s even more obvious in them is how perfect you are together. This day obviously contained a lot of joy and love, and we hope your photos and film footage help you relive it for many years to come!
