As a middle school math teacher, she obviously has a mind for numbers. But it won’t take much mathematic genus to remember the numbers tied to their important anniversaries — with them all falling on the same date!
This pattern began with their first date on June 12, 2020, when they met at Anton’s Steakhouse in Kansas City after connecting on an app. With him being a high school history and debate teacher, they had a lot in common right away — so it’s no surprise they saw each other again the very next day.
Having summers off together also came in handy the following year, when they celebrated their first anniversary with a trip to Daytona Beach. He popped the question at Ponce Inlet Lighthouse on June 12, 2021 — and of course setting their wedding for June 12, 2022 was perfectly appropriate!
