A pandemic isn’t exactly a prime time to meet new people, let alone to find a life partner. But with the help of Bumble, these two found they were practically neighbors — which soon led to backyard hangouts.

They hit it off so quickly and completely that it was no surprise she’d be his date the following year for a wedding at the Overland Park Arboretum. As it turned out, though, that supposed wedding was actually just an excuse for them to be dressed in their best when he surprised her with a proposal!
