the story of
ellen + jonathan
and wedding photography + videography in Olathe
~*~
Five years has passed since they met and soon came to see that they couldn’t see their lives without each other. Thus this wedding was a pretty long time in coming — and they weren’t willing to postpone it, even with a global pandemic that forced some flexibility.
The Plan B they adopted meant moving their big celebration to next spring while still tying the knot on their original wedding date. And while the venue may have been different and the guest list may have been smaller, it was obvious that this event held as much meaning as any larger wedding would have — so much so that both the bride and groom fought back tears throughout the ceremony. (And hopefully it’s good luck to have a bald eagle show up for your big day, because they had that too!)
Ellen and Jonathan: We loved being among the small group who witnessed this beautiful milestone, and we look forward to capturing your continuation of the celebration next year!
