the story of
catherine + seth
and wedding photography in kansas city
~*~
When they started planning their wedding, they undoubtedly didn’t envision it including medical masks personalized with their names.
And they certainly didn’t anticipate switching venues or drastically cutting their guest list in the months leading up to their big day. But even with all the plans they had to modify in the midst of the pandemic, they managed to pull off the most important part — getting married!
A silver lining in all their adjustments was that it led them to have their small ceremony at the same site as their first date — which was such a special detail in a day that, although small in size, was still big in beauty and meaning.
Catherine and Seth: I’m so glad to have gotten to document this beginning to your marriage and can’t wait to capture your larger celebration next summer (which could double as a pretty epic first anniversary party)!
Date: 08.29.20 | Venue: Lifted Spirits Distillery (Kansas City, Missouri)
