Even before they were engaged, they were so obviously committed to each other that friends and family were waiting at the edge of their seats for a proposal, since that seemed the obvious next step after several years of dating.

Then — after that proposal arrived and wedding plans were in place — those patient friends and family had to wait even longer than originally planned for their wedding, what with a pandemic coming along to push it back by three months. And although these two couldn’t wait that much longer to tie the knot and did so in a small ceremony on their original date in May, their Tahitian island-inspired celebration was still a perfect way to mark their marriage with those who’d been waiting so long to see it come about.

Neesa and Seth: I loved the simple aesthetic beauty of your day as much as the unique ways you found to incorporate your loved ones (This was undoubtedly the first time we’d seen a bride’s brother escort her down the aisle via FaceTime, or a bride’s grandparents serenade the couple during their ceremony!). I hope that, especially after your extra months spent waiting, this wedding was everything you wanted — and that your photos and video footage help you always relive it!
