the story of
chelsie + evan
and engagement photography in Smithville
~*~
He had his eye on her for a while before she finally came around. But the important thing is that she did – thanks to mutual friends and the chance she took to get to know him well enough to see what a wonderful match they’d make.
Their engagement has also been an exercise in patience, as they’ve taken time to plan their wedding just so and to wait for their daughter to grow old enough to walk down the aisle on her own – certain to be the most perfect flower girl they ever could have picked.
But now all that waiting is almost over, and we squeezed in this session just a few months before their big day! Smithville Lake was a perfect setting for these nature-lovers, and it was wonderful to capture them there on an evening that graced us with a proper sunset.
Chelsie and Evan: You couldn’t have been sweeter to work with, and I’m even more excited now to capture you again in September!
