Their story began long before they could comprehend how significant it would be. It started so early in life, in fact, that her dad felt the need on their wedding day to assure everyone that the marriage hadn’t actually been arranged – even if some elements of it strongly resembled a scenario in which the bride and groom had been promised to each other since childhood.
But in other respects, theirs is not at all a typical childhood-sweetheart story. They weathered hard times not many do at such a young age and also managed to achieve their individual goals without losing sight of each other. And after a number of years living in separate states as they attended to their college educations and careers, they finally arrived here: At the wedding day that officially united them and marked the start of a new chapter they actually get to share in the same city.
Ashley and Grant: I’ve been so impressed by you and your story and loved getting to capture this significant moment in it. I’m sure this beautiful day was just the first of many you’ll have together in your married life!
