the story of
megan + colby
and engagement photography in Kansas City
~*~
She had her eye on him for years without any indication he’d ever be more than the casual acquaintance she wasn’t too shy to cat-call across crowded common areas at their college.
But if anything proves that persistence pays off, it’s the fact that they finally did have a first date. It was one facilitated by mutual friends that opened the door to them being inseparable — and, less than a year later, to the birth of a son whose second birthday they would mark with their engagement.

Megan and Colby: I’m not surprised that timing and circumstances eventually worked out for you, because you truly seem meant to be. You’re also so fun to photograph, and I can’t wait to capture more of you at your wedding next year!
