The first time they met, they were dressed in their Christmas best – in ugly-Christmas-sweater fashion, that is.

But with her bubbly, life-of-the-party persona, she stood out to him for more than just her Christmas-tree-patterned leggings. He tracked her down after that evening through the mutual friends whose party had brought them together – and the love story they gradually formed was as merry and bright as any you’d expect from a couple with a beginning like theirs.

Sam and Patrick: You’re a joy to photograph, so natural in front of the camera and with each other. And while I have to say I’m a tad disappointed you didn’t find a way to work some ugly Christmas sweaters into your session (just kidding!), I love the look of these photos and can’t wait to capture more of you next May!
