They were high-school sweethearts who didn’t think it practical to stay together after high school — but life had different plans and brought them back together several years later. Since then, they’ve weathered a long-distance relationship and a pandemic to arrive at this much deserved celebration of the start of their next chapter!

About their vision for their wedding, Marie shares:

We chose The Elms because it is similar to having a destination wedding without driving too far out of Kansas City. The beautiful gazebo with lots of greenery was exactly what we wanted. We also loved the idea of everyone being at the hotel all weekend and having more time together. We wanted everyone to have a fun weekend with lots of family/friend time, talking and laughing.

Marie and Kyle: From your priceless expressions during your first look to all the energy on your reception dance floor — and so many moments in between — your day was a true joy to capture. You did a wonderful job in selecting all your details but, most importantly, in selecting each other!
