The Royals may not have won the day of their first date – when she came to the game with friends and he with his dad, just so they didn’t face the pressure of sitting through the whole game alone together. But those few innings where they stole seats side-by-side down near the field proved that the day was definitely a winner for them.
Fast forward to last January, and the dating relationship that began at that game became one officially headed for a wedding. He surprised her with roses and a ring outside of the restaurant where they’d gone on their first date that was just the two of them – and now, they’re looking forward to leaping into marriage on Leap Day next year!
Courtney and Joe: I apologize for the cheesy pun but just couldn’t resist highlighting your wonderful wedding date, which I’m sure will mark the start of an awesome next chapter for you. I can’t wait to capture you again then, but in the meantime, here are some engagement favorites!
