Her first impression of him was a social media photo that hinted at his sense of humor – displaying him decked out in St. Patrick’s Day garb, despite having no other obvious ties to Irish heritage. When they met in person, that sense of humor didn’t disappoint. And as much of a match as they were on a light-hearted level, they also discovered common ground in a love for learning and, eventually, for each other.

Their wedding on Saturday celebrated that love in a rustic ranch setting where they incorporated florals, pastels and vintage touches for an event that was beautifully eclectic. But most beautiful, of course, were the bride and groom together – beginning with the moment he teared up upon seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time.
