the story of
stephanie + billy
and engagement photography in Kansas City
~*~
He couldn’t have anticipated it in a thousand years: The way she, a virtual stranger, burst into his apartment unannounced and without a word had a hold on him that would change everything.
It wasn’t him, but his roommate, that she and her friend were after. But she likewise felt that electric connection – one that caused her to moonwalk out of the apartment in order to maintain his gaze.
In that moment, they couldn’t see the invite to the jambalaya dinner he’d send her roommate, secretly as a means to see her again. They couldn’t see the comically rickety table at the restaurant where they’d first meet for drinks, just the two of them. And they couldn’t see, years down the road, the day of his proposal – where everything that went wrong would be instantly negated as soon as she said yes.
But what Stephanie Cooper and William Miller could see in that initial moment was each other, and that proved more than enough to spark everything else.
Stephanie and Billy: What a sweet and unexpected story you two have. I can’t wait to get the rest of it written and, of course, to capture the start of your next chapter very soon!
