the story of
anna + alex
and engagement photography in Shawnee

The conversation was easy and the connection was natural on their first date — dinner at a restaurant where they spent four hours and outlasted their waiter’s shift. They talked about travel and shared funny stories and felt like they were already something more than virtual strangers who’d met on a dating site.
What really stood out, though — even more than the effortlessness they were experiencing together — was how he ate his hamburger patty off the bun, just like her mom always did. With that quirky habit, it was like he was already part of her family.
But they didn’t rush to make it official. They formed their relationship for four years before he popped the question in Branson last December — by which point her answer was a “yes” as easy as the dynamic they’ve shared since Day 1.
Anna and Alex: You were such a delight to work with during this session, and I can’t wait to capture all the special moments I’m sure will materialize during your big day in October. But in the mean time, here are a few favorites of you as fiancés!
