the story of
jeri + ryan
and engagement photography in Topeka
~*~
After meeting on a dating app, they had an instant connection — so much so a second and third date came much sooner than planned.
Their first date was in the spring of 2021 in downtown Topeka, where they ate at The Pennant and walked the Capitol grounds and surrounding streets. They made plans to see each other again three weeks later but in actuality got together three times that first week, despite living an hour-and-a-half apart.
This was a trend that continued, with them regularly putting in long hours on the road to have just a little time together. They were inseparable despite the distance between them, and with the way she sometimes caught him looking at her, it was obvious he was feeling the same once-in-a-lifetime love she was.
Fast forward to the present: They share a puppy and are planning a wedding for next fall!
Jeri and Ryan: It was so special to do this session in the place you first met in person. I hope these photos forever bring back fond memories not only of your time as fiancés but also of that wonderful start to your story. And I can’t wait to document you again on your big day!
