If long-distance relationships aren’t easy, planning a wedding while living hours apart surely isn’t either — but these two still put together such a stunning occasion. It also was one that was perfectly personalized, in part by taking place at the home of Erik’s family — where his parents had their own wedding reception 40 years ago! About some of the other special details that went into the day, Liz shares: We wanted a modern yet rustic and romantic theme, so we went with a neutral color palette of white and champagne with a pop of fall colors, including copper, rose and terracotta. And we love the farmhouse look so incorporated farm tables for our sweetheart and dessert table. In addition to being our best day ever, we wanted our family and friends to have the best time, as well — so we focused a lot of our planning around the food and guest experience. Liz and Erik: You two and your wedding were truly picture-perfect, and it was an honor to capture every beautiful element. I hope these images are all you envisioned as you made your plans and that they let you relive this once-in-a-lifetime day for many years!Date: 10.14.21 | Venue: private residence
