The entire time they were co-workers, they never spoke — so of course they never suspected the love story they’d share. It wasn’t until after she left that high school waitressing job and had a goodbye celebration of sorts at a trampoline park that their relationship really got its jump start (pun intended!).

The five years since have led to nursing degrees for them both, a house they bought together and two canine kids — to name just a few parts of the shared life he sealed with a proposal in front of a waterfall in South Dakota last summer. And next summer, they’ll make their commitment truly official with a wedding at a Wichita-area vineyard!
