the story of
courtney +joe
and wedding photography + videography in Kearney & Kansas City
~*~
When a couple chooses a wedding date that comes around only every four years, it should come as no surprise that they value out-of-the-ordinary details — which is exactly what these two aimed to incorporate.
Courtney shares:
Joe and I hoped for a wedding that was both simple and elegant. Throughout the planning process, we tried to add unique details (like dice party favors and a cake on each table) in hopes of making our day stand out to our guests.
Courtney and Joe: I’m sure your lovely Leap Day wedding is one we’ll always remember, and we can’t thank you enough for letting us share in it. Here’s hoping your photos and video footage help you always remember it too!

The shot below needs some explanation: It’s a recreation of sorts of a wedding photo the bride’s parents took with their ring bearer and flower girl on their big day. Now, of course, that ring bearer and flower girl are all grown up — and happen to be the parents of Courtney and Joe’s ring bearer and flower girl!
