It turns out assault by shopping cart is not necessarily a bad way to begin a relationship. And if this sounds like something out of a romantic comedy, that’s also very fitting – because these two seem as meant-to-be as any perfect couple conjured up by Hollywood.

After she almost ran him over with her cart in a Target checkout lane, it took several other chance encounters before he asked for her number. But once he did and their first date was in the books, it was overwhelmingly obvious they were destined for a once-in-a-lifetime kind of relationship – one that would include many boxes to hold all their memories and magical traditions like the annual Surprise Day that last year ended with a marriage proposal.
