the story of
ruiying + yang
and wedding photography in Lawrence
~*~
When a bride passionate about art history marries a groom passionate about chemistry, you just might get a wedding peppered with perfect little personalized touches: postcards and socks showcasing famous paintings, scientific flasks serving as centerpiece vases and even vows forming poetry from chemistry concepts.
And when a bride and groom from China each find their other half halfway around the world in Kansas, it’s only fitting that they marry at a quintessentially Kansas location! These two share that they loved the outdoor setting of their venue and aimed for an elegant and tasteful yet intimate wedding where everyone would be comfortable and happy.
Ruiying and Yang: It was obvious from the first time I met you that you’re high achievers who are certain of your tastes, so it was no surprise to see how flawlessly your day came together and how well your details reflected who you are. I hope you find these photos do justice to your beautiful beginning as husband and wife and help you hold onto it forever!
