the story of
jennifer +jacob
and engagement photography in Kansas City

Put on your red shoes and dance the blues / To the song they’re playing on the radio …
The first time she heard him sing, she was sure she was in fact hearing the radio.
In reality, though, the dive bar where they’d both come after a particularly difficult daily grind happened to be hosting a karaoke night – and that voice Jennifer Gormley assumed was David Bowie’s actually belonged to Jacob Scribner.
He caught her eye right away (or at least as soon as she realized his singing voice had a physical presence). And it wouldn’t be long before he caught her heart, as well.
Jennifer and Jacob: I’m glad that night unfolded as it did and led not only to this engagement session but also to the rest of your lives together! It’s pretty obvious from the images here that you’ve found your perfect match.
