The journey leading to this day started in the unassuming way all high-school relationships must, too far removed from any possibility of marriage to see it on the horizon. But sometimes, when a match is just right, young love stands the test of time and transition to arrive at a wedding – which is exactly what happened for these two, six years after the history class where their own history began.

And what better way to celebrate than with a Christmas theme, complete with tree centerpieces and other DIY details the bride put together herself (including quilts she made as bridesmaid gifts that we of course ensured got photographed!). All of this, along with all the love that was so evident, created such a cozy and joyous occasion.

Lucy and Chris: We couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up our 2016 weddings! We hope the start of every Christmas season takes you back to this perfect day, and that these pictures (plus lots more to come!) help you relive it for many years.
