Despite the title of this post, this July 2013 trip was more accurately one to see some of Seth’s family in Dubuque, Iowa. But our main outing while we were there was to the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, which has exhibits on the culture and history of America’s rivers. It also has aquariums as well as outdoor habitats featuring wildlife native to the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico.
