the story of
jillian + chris
and wedding photography + videography in Kansas City
~*~
For sentimental purposes, he suggested that they have the International House of Pancakes cater their wedding — since, after all, an IHOP was the site of their chance meeting as teenagers that led to this marriage milestone a number of years later.
In the end, they went with barbecue instead, which was just one of countless thoughtful details that went into this day. And what a day it was, from their rooftop first look to the live band on their dance floor — and even those wonderful moments that can’t be planned, like the honks and cheers they got on every downtown street we walked for their newlywed portraits.
Jillian and Chris: You truly hit it out of the park not only with the beautiful aesthetic you created but also with all the unique ways you obviously sought to add to your guests’ experience. But most importantly, of course, you clearly hit the jackpot with each other — and we hope you find these images do justice to your sweet dynamic as well as this stunning occasion!
